At EHS Insight, every release is focused on making your programs easier to manage, more aligned with real-world operations, and more scalable as your organization grows.
With v26.3, we’ve introduced enhancements across Incident Management and Work Permits—helping teams capture more relevant data and streamline contractor workflows.
You can now define custom Incident Consequence Types within the Incident Management module—giving you more flexibility to align incident tracking with your organization’s terminology and processes.
No two organizations define incidents the same way. This update allows you to align incident tracking with your internal terminology, reporting needs, and operational realities—without workarounds.
Result: More accurate reporting, better data consistency, and incident tracking that reflects how your business actually operates.
Work Permits can now be assigned to internal users or vendor workers—even if they don’t have full Work Permit permissions—making it easier to complete work without expanding system access.
Work doesn’t stop because someone lacks system access. This update removes friction by allowing the right people to complete permitted work without expanding system permissions.
A facility manager verifies a contractor’s training and credentials in the Vendor Portal, then creates and assigns a Work Permit with linked JSA and permitted operations.
Once approved and active, the contractor accesses the permit through the external Vendor Portal to review details, log work performed, update statuses, and complete the permit.
Result: Faster coordination, improved contractor compliance, and reduced administrative overhead.
These updates reflect a consistent focus:
Whether you're refining incident tracking or managing contractors in the field, v26.3 helps you move faster with less friction.
