StarTex Software’s EHS Insight, a premier provider of cloud software solutions for environmental, health and safety (EHS) management, today announced the release of its Job Safety Analysis (JSA) module available through the EHS Insight solution. Dynamic and intuitive, the new module helps organizations protect their employees by managing safety risk through workflows that automate the assignment, review and approval stages of the job safety analysis lifecycle.

“Our new Job Safety Analysis module represents a significant addition to the EHS Insight solution, enabling companies to more easily ensure their workforce is performing as safely as possible,” said Gary McDonald, President and CEO of StarTex Software. “As with existing solution components, this new module is intuitive and powerful, ensuring excellent engagement with the workers and providing insight to management. This module represents a big step up in functionality for customers who use JSA in their work.”

The Job Safety Analysis module is designed to help organizations evaluate safety risk factors, uncover potential work-related hazards and control measures to reduce risk levels across different business and operational units. With the new module, EHS departments can:

  • Assign JSAs to various parts of the organization based on the business hierarchy

  • Manage personal protective equipment selection, add attachments and document references, identify task-related residual risk and outline steps to record hazards and control measures

  • Integrate JSAs into the Safety Meeting module to further identify, organize and measure workplace safety risks

  • Easily track when safety meeting documents are opened and clicked, and generate document tracking reports to monitor employee engagement over time
