EHS Insight 25.5: New Features for Training & User Experience

We are happy to announce the updates in our 25.5 release, packed with new features and enhancements designed to elevate and improve your experience with EHS Insight. This release focuses on improving training management, user engagement, and overall platform usability. From the introduction of MARCOM Micro-Learning to enhanced dashboard functionalities, our latest updates are crafted to provide you with greater flexibility, control, and efficiency in managing your EHS programs.

Here are the highlights:

MARCOM Micro-Learning: Users can now assign microlearning lessons from MARCOM or custom courses, making training more digestible and improving engagement and completion rates.
Subscribing from Training Library: Instead of subscribing to entire MARCOM catalogs, you can now subscribe to individual courses from any licensed catalog for more flexibility.
One-Off Trainings within a CAPA: Users can now assign one-off trainings directly from a CAPA, streamlining how you track corrective or remedial training triggered by events like incidents or audits.

Training Management Updates

MARCOM Micro-Learning

The most exciting update in 25.5 is the addition of MARCOM Micro-Learning content to our Online Training Course Library. This feature allows customers to break longer training courses into shorter, more digestible lessons, enhancing the learning experience. Whether using content from the MARCOM Micro-Learning library or uploading SCORM/AICC lesson files, users can now complete training one lesson at a time. Lessons can be completed in any order, giving learners flexibility to progress at their own pace. These enhancements are a game-changer designed to drive higher engagement and improved completion rates.

Subscribe From Library

We’ve introduced a more flexible and streamlined way to manage third-party training content with the new “Subscribe from Library” feature. Users can browse their licensed MARCOM catalogs and subscribe to individual courses, giving them full control over which training content appears on their site.

Subscribed courses automatically receive updates when MARCOM releases new versions, ensuring content stays current. Customers can also swap out courses on existing Training Requirements without disrupting assignments—such as replacing a standard course with an adaptive learning version—while choosing whether or not to update related properties like title and description. These updates allow for more relevant course selection, customization of titles and descriptions, and easy mixing of content from multiple catalogs.

One-Off Training Within a CAPA

EHS Insight now enables users to assign One-Off Training directly within a CAPA or CAPA Worksheet, simplifying the process of linking remedial training to investigations or corrective actions. This update reduces the steps needed to assign training and ensures a clear connection between CAPAs and related training assignments in reports. For instance, if an incident investigation identifies the need for refresher training, such as forklift safety, the training can be assigned immediately within the CAPA workflow. This allows managers to track both the CAPA and training completion in one centralized location, driving improved compliance and faster resolution of safety issues.

Additional User Experience Updates

Enhanced Attachment Handling

We’ve improved attachment handling in EHS Insight with two new features: the ability to rename attachments and the option to download all attachments on a form as a single .zip file. Users can now rename files directly in the Attachment List or Photo Viewer, making it easier to replace generic filenames (like timestamps) with clear, descriptive labels—ideal for those who upload multiple attachments, such as photos during audits. Additionally, a new “Download Attachments” option under “Print/Print Form” allows users to save all form attachments as a .zip file, making it easier to share or review supporting materials.
