Release 26.14 introduces Driver Management, a new module for those who manage fleets and drivers. Driver and fleet managers now have one place to onboard drivers, assign the right DOT qualification requirements automatically, collect and track driver documents and vehicles, and see at a glance who is qualified to drive.
Overview: Driver Management provides one place to manage driver qualifications: each driver's license, the vehicles they operate, and the documents required in their Driver Qualification file.
Benefit: Fewer spreadsheets, fewer surprises. Every driver's status updates automatically, so expired, missing, or disqualified drivers are flagged before they get behind the wheel.
If you run commercial vehicles, you know the Driver Qualification file is one of the first things an auditor asks to see. Keeping it complete means tracking licenses, medical certificates, motor vehicle records, drug and alcohol results, training, and more, for every driver, each with its own renewal date.
For most teams, that tracking lives in spreadsheets, shared drives, and paper folders. Answering simple questions takes real effort:
Driver Management answers all of them from one screen.
Adam holds a CDL and drives a tanker in interstate commerce. As soon as he's designated as a driver, Driver Management assigns the requirements that apply to him, such as the Annual Review of Driving Record and the Previous 7 Days Hours of Service Statement. When his Medical Examiner's Certificate expires, it's marked Overdue and his status changes to Not Qualified. His manager sees it immediately, and Adam has already received reminder emails ahead of the expiration date.
Release 26.14 is about confidence on the road. Driver Management gives fleet and driver managers one audit-ready source of truth for driver qualifications, so you always know who is qualified, what's coming due, and what needs attention, without the spreadsheets.
Driver Management is now available with a new Driver Management license. To add it to your platform, reach out to your account team. As always, thank you for your feedback. It shapes every release.
