According to the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), 4,679 people lost their lives on the job in 2014. During North American Occupational Safety and Health Week (NAOSH), ASSE works with its partners to raise awareness on workplace health and safety.
Launched in 2007, NAOSH Week is promoted by three organizations - ASSE, Canadian Society of Safety Engineering and the Interdisciplinary Association of Occupational Health and Hygiene of Mexico.
