As we continue into the latest release, EHS Insight is introducing powerful new ways to visualize, configure, and report your EHS data. This update focuses on three key areas: map-based reporting, enhanced training flexibility, and expanded sustainability reporting, giving organizations more control, clarity, and context across their safety, compliance, and environmental programs.
Map-Based Reporting for Incident and Observation Data
We have added the ability to report location-based data on a map, making it easier to spot high density areas for any type of form data - whether its incidents, work observations, hazards or even data from a custom form.
What’s New:
- Incident Event Map – Displays pins for the locations where incidents occurred, based on the “GPS or Map Location of Incident” entered on the form.
Benefits:
- Easily visualize high-risk and high-density areas across locations
- Identify recurring issues or patterns in specific regions
- Ideal for large or global enterprises tracking incidents across multiple sites
- Quickly pinpoint where to focus preventive efforts and resources
- Customizable Map Visualization: Choose between individual pins or heatmap-style density bubbles, and define the exact geographic scope you want to monitor—city, state, or global view.
Hotspot-style mapping turns raw form data into actionable visuals. For organizations tracking GPS location on the Incident Event form, this feature enables instant visibility into where incidents are occurring and where safety improvements are needed most.
Enhanced Training Requirement Flexibility and Multi-Language Support
The Training Management Module has been updated to offer greater configurability for defining online courses including enhanced multi-language support and integration with additional online training providers.
What’s New:
- Increased Flexibility for Multi Language Environments – Combine courses from different sources within one Requirement—for instance, assign Marcom’s English course and upload your own SCORM version in Spanish to support all learners seamlessly.
Benefits:
- More Streamlined Reporting: Manage languages beyond English and Spanish under a single requirement, simplifying administration and enabling centralized reporting.
These updates make online training configuration more flexible for multilingual and global teams and reduce administrative complexity.
Sustainability Enhancements: Scope Property and New GHG Reports
The Sustainability Module now includes Scope as a distinct property of each sustainability measure and a new set of sample GHG Emissions reports aligned with standard emission reporting practices.
What’s New:
- Added Scope as a distinct property of the sustainability measure (Scopes 1, 2, and 3).
- Introduced a new set of sample reports showing GHG emissions by Scope and by Sustainability Measure.
- Updated demo and trial content to better reflect real-world GHG reporting patterns.
Benefits:
- Improved clarity and data structure for GHG tracking
- Faster setup for customers using EHS Insight in demos or evaluations
- Templates that save time on custom report creation
Tracking Scope as its own property gives sustainability teams more clarity and flexibility when organizing emission data. The previous “Sustainability Measure Category” field remains available for non-scope metrics, maintaining full configurability.
Smarter Visualization, Smarter Management
From new map-based risk visuals to expanded online training flexibility and sustainability clarity, this release continues EHS Insight’s mission to help organizations make data-driven decisions that keep people safe and operations compliant.
