EHS Insight's Year in Review — Building Safer & Smarter Workplaces

Review the 2025 highlights of EHS Insight, including major platform upgrades, AI advancements, strategic partnerships, and the roadmap for a safer, smarter 2026.

With the year wrapping up, now is the right time to look back at the strides EHS Insight has taken.

This year was full of growth, innovation, and momentum. Our focus stayed the same: helping organizations strengthen safety culture, streamline compliance, and move toward a more sustainable future.

Growing Recognition and Industry Validation

One of the biggest highlights this year was being featured in the Verdantix Green Quadrant as a top EHS software provider for both mid-market and enterprise organizations for the second time in a row.

This recognition reflects our long-term commitment to building a powerful and accessible safety platform. Verdantix highlighted our mobile-first architecture, rapid product development, and strong R&D investment.

Platform Updates and Upgrades

This year brought some of the most significant upgrades to EHS Insight. Across the platform, we introduced new tools, smarter automation, and meaningful usability improvements that make every day work faster, clearer, and more efficient.

Customization

A major area of growth was customization. Teams can now build more tailored workflows with expanded Form Designer options, improved custom fields, new field settings, and better support for unique observation types. We also added more control over email notifications, form behavior, and assignment logic so administrators can shape processes around how their organization actually operates.

Document Management

Document management advanced in practical ways. Users can rename folders, browse by folder in pickers, and collaborate through built-in discussions. We added clearer acknowledgment workflows, direct QR code links to documents, scheduled reviews, and more flexible anonymous submission settings. These updates support cleaner audits, better version control, and faster access to essential information.

New Vendor and Contractor Management Portal

Our 25.12 release introduced powerful new capabilities designed to streamline vendor and contractor collaboration, enhance AI-driven insights, and make reporting and learning management even more intuitive.

Training

Training became more adaptable as well. We expanded third-party learning options, added MARCOM Micro-Learning, and introduced new ways to assign one-off training from different parts of the system. These changes help connect learning to real operational needs and make it easier to keep teams compliant.

Access and Communication

We took steps to ensure that teams had the tools they needed to keep connected, informed, and secure. We introduced SMS Notifications, real-time alerts via Twilio to ensure important updates reach employees promptly. In addition, we also introduced Passwordless Authentication for improved security and a Shared Calendar of Events for ease of scheduling drills, safety trainings, and other key events in one central hub.

User Experience Optimization

We focused heavily on removing friction throughout the platform. Notable improvements included better attachment handling, more intuitive list views, clearer due date settings, enhanced keyword filtering, simplified CAPA creation, and smoother navigation across modules. Small updates like improved search behavior and faster access to recent forms collectively created a more seamless user experience.

EHS Insight Copilot (AI)

The EHS Insight Copilot now assists directly inside forms, helping users summarize incidents, draft toolbox talks, generate JSA steps, and quickly analyze content. The chat experience became more flexible with features like conversation continuation, the ability to start new sessions, and access to newer OpenAI models. Additional enhancements like improved annotation tools and inline guidelines inside forms made AI guidance more visible and more actionable.

We also expanded Vision AI within the Copilot experience—using image recognition to detect hazards, interpret field conditions, and automatically surface context inside forms. By allowing users to simply capture photos and receive instant insights, Vision AI reduces manual interpretation and speeds up decision-making in the field, turning everyday documentation into a smarter, more proactive safety process.
